Nano-visual lithography is an advanced manufacturing technology that creates micro and nano-scale structures on photoresist plates through precision laser exposure. These microscopic structures, with dimensions typically ranging from sub-micron to tens of microns, manipulate incident light through diffraction, interference, and reflection to produce stunning visual effects perceived by the human eye. The technology enables a rich palette of optical phenomena including three-dimensional relief, floating imagery, dynamic motion effects, true-color rendering, and chromatic shifting that changes with viewing angle.
At ROEM Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., we have developed a complete production workflow that transforms creative designs into finished optical products. This seven-step process encompasses: (1) Lithographic Design using our proprietary Holoshop software; (2) Lithography Operation using the Holoprint system; (3) Recombining individual masters into large-format plates; (4) Electroforming to create durable nickel shims; (5) Embossing to transfer microstructures onto film; (6) Metallizing to enhance optical performance; and (7) Lamination to bond the final product onto various substrates.
